Guide to Marseille – Where to stay

Marseille is also known as the city of 111 villages. But over the years, with the expansion of the city, these villages have become districts. Each district has nonetheless kept its own identity.
You can therefore imagine that Marseille is a very extensive city.
And if you don’t have a car, your only option to visit Notre Dame de la Garde, le Panier, le Stade Vélodrome, les calanques … will be to use the means of transportation (not expensive by the way).
This is why it isn’t as important to stay in the “center” as it can be in another city.

The addresses below gathered youth hostels, holiday cottages, guest houses and hotels to suit every budget.
They are ranked by price, from the cheapest to the most expensive.

-The Auberge de Jeunesse Marseille Bonneveine is a youth hostel member of Hostelling International, a sign of quality.
