Hyde park in London

Hyde Park is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy centre.
Relaxing time
Even if you’re only in London for business, shopping or whatever, it will be a shame not to enjoy one of the jewels than London offers.
The park is perfectly adapted for people who enjoy running or cycling, which I don’t. I prefer to wander and discover new places around the corner.
But don’t expect to explore the whole park in one day. Otherwise, you’ll be in the rush and will miss the point, which is to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the place.
My boyfriend and I had to go to Knightsbridge, so instead of taking the public transportation, we decided to cross the park.
We entered through Victoria Gate and walked along the Long Water and the Serpentine and finally went out on Kensington Road, at the level of theMandarin Oriental. A nice walk that allowed us to enjoy nature, spot some animals and discover some of the landmarks of the park.

Spring is for me the best season to enjoy the park, with all the flowers in blossom. P1070220Hyde-2BParkBut I also like autumn when the leaves change colours, fall and make a red carpet. autumn-1-hyde-park-2010So next time you’re in London, just enter Hyde Park from the nearer entrance and let your feet guide you!
