Last week, a little revolution took place in my wardrobe: I bought a pair of coral chino pants.
It’s a big deal because it’s my first coloured pants since I was a child!
Indeed, my closet is full of jeans (blue, black, white) and black pants because there are easy to wear: they go with everything and can be worn for any occasion. My most daring pants were beige, that is to say!
But lately, I’ve been attracted by coloured pants. I tried several pants but could never decide myself to buy them, it was such a big change!
However, I never stopped trying and a miracle happened when I finally found the coloured pair of pants made for me in a shop that I’ve never noticed before in Aix en Provence.
I was first attracted by the nice colours of the pants and then by the soft fabric. When I tried them, they felt like a second skin: well cut and very pleasant to wear. And I liked their casual style with a sophisticated touch.
Predictably enough the pair of pant that I finally chose is coral.
I always thought that it was a bit difficult to match coloured pants with tops but I found out that coral pants particularly go well with white, taupe and dark blue. But I’ll never wear them with a black top because I don’t like the association red/black expect for Louboutins of course!
My mother bought the exact same pair of chinos. We are pretty happy with our shopping.
In Marseille, I make sure that we don’t wear our pants the same days but when I’ll be in London, we won’t have that problem.
And I’m sure that I’ll wear it very often during the London “summer”!
